Hi, Thanks for visiting my photoblog. My name is Sanjay Gurung and I live in Thimphu, Bhutan.
I would like to call myself a hobbyist photographer who is inspired to take photographs of anything beautiful I find around. My interest apart from photography lies in graphic designing, web design and development.
I started this blog as to dump some of my best captured perspectives. I usually get to shoot during weekends and after work hours which gives me a sense of relief from a tiring day at work.
I shoot with a Tamron AF 17-50mm 1:2.8 [IF] A16 attached to a Canon EOS Kiss X2 body. This seem to be a decent equipment to learn photography. Along with this I use Canon Remote Switch RS-60E3, Circular polarizer (CPL) Digital Filter, UV Haze and a simple tripod. On 1st of January 2011, I got a Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS. :D
I am learning to use lightroom, photoshop for post processing of the pictures. Though I will be uploading my best captured pictures here, I don't claim that it would be best for others. Therefore I am open to your comments, critiques and your valuable advises.
